Under the direction of Christer Sorensson, the Los Naranjos golf club is run according to the philosophy that 'golf means more than just hitting a ball' and this is amply illustrated in the club house, which bills itself as a total golfing experience and 'the Costa del Sol´s friendly golf club'.
Another Robert Trent Jones masterpiece, Los Naranjos´ front nine are rolling, wide and open, whilst the back nine are flat, very tight and played through the beautiful orange groves which gave the course its name.
Los Naranjos opened in 1977 but has recently undergone a programme of improvements including new greens and a computer controlled irrigation system. Like many Robert Trent Jones designs the course features long terraced tees and large undulating greens which are well protected.
